How introductions and matching work

How MediaBuyer.com matches you with vetted media buyers — form, call, and matching on the platform — plus why trialing several buyers works best.

You don't scroll through hundreds of profiles and hope. MediaBuyer.com learns what your business needs, then hand-matches you with media buyers who actually fit. Here's how it works, start to finish.

Step 1: Tell us about your business (the form)

You start with a short form about what you're scaling — your platforms, your spend level, your offer, and what a good outcome looks like. This is what makes the match specific instead of generic.

Step 2: We talk it through (the call)

Next is a call to go deeper than a form can — the context behind your goals, where you've struggled before, and what you actually need from a buyer. The tighter we understand the goal, the better the match.

Step 3: You get matched on the platform

We then match you with vetted media buyers whose proven experience lines up with your needs — the right platforms, the right scale, the right industry where it matters. Because every buyer is pre-vetted, matching is about fit, not filtering out fakes. It all happens on the platform, where each buyer's verified track record is shown on their profile.

In most cases this is fast — often the same business day after your call.

Step 4: You meet and decide

You connect with your matches to talk through your business and how you'd work together. Their track record is already verified, so the conversation is about approach and fit — not re-checking whether their numbers are real.

How long until I actually hire?

Most companies go from first conversation to hire in about 1–3 days — versus the 2–6 weeks a traditional search usually takes. The speed comes from the vetting being done before you arrive.

We strongly recommend trialing more than one buyer

The best way to find the right long-term fit is to trial a few buyers rather than betting everything on one. A simple approach that works:

  • Trial 3–5 matched buyers.

  • Give each a clear KPI to hit and some trial ad spend to work with.

  • Support them fully for 2–4 weeks so they get a fair shot.

Example: give three buyers the same target — say a CPA goal on a specific campaign — a defined trial budget, and four weeks. By the end it's usually obvious who moves the needle in your account.

A trial is the only way to see how someone performs inside your business, not just on paper.

What can I get matched for?

Matching isn't only for hiring someone to run your ads. You can be matched for:

  • Ad management — a buyer runs and scales your campaigns.

  • 1:1 coaching, mentoring, or advisory — a top buyer works directly with you or your team.

  • One-time projects — a defined, scoped piece of work.

Every one of these runs through the platform as a Verified Hire (see What is a Verified Hire?).

What if the match isn't right?

If a matched buyer isn't the right fit, you're not stuck — tell us what was off and we'll re-match. The more specific your feedback, the better the next round.
